Telehealth & Online Services Agreement

Services Disclaimer

By booking a telehealth or online service with Progressa, you acknowledge that services will be delivered via secure video or online platforms by appropriately qualified and AHPRA-registered practitioners, where applicable. Telehealth services are offered where clinically appropriate and may not be suitable for all situations.

You understand that telehealth relies on technology and, while reasonable steps are taken to ensure privacy and confidentiality, there may be limitations beyond our control. You agree to participate from a private, safe location and to notify your practitioner if this is not possible.

If your practitioner determines that telehealth is not suitable for your needs, or if a higher level of care is required, you may be supported to access alternative services or referred to appropriate face-to-face or emergency supports.

Telehealth services are not designed for crisis or emergency situations. If you are experiencing an immediate risk to your safety or the safety of others, please contact emergency services.

Consent to Participate

By proceeding with a Progressa 1:1 booking, you confirm that you:

  • Understand the nature of telehealth and online services

  • Have had the opportunity to ask questions

  • Consent to participate in services delivered online

  • Understand that consent can be withdrawn at any time

Privacy & Confidentiality Notice

Progressa respects your privacy. Personal and health information collected as part of your booking and participation is handled confidentially and in accordance with our Privacy and Confidentiality Policies. Information is used only to deliver services, meet professional obligations, and improve service quality.

Confidentiality may only be breached where required by law or where there is a serious and immediate risk to safety.

Duty of Care & Safety Notice

Progressa holds a duty of care to all participants. Our practitioners may take reasonable steps to ensure safety if concerns arise during a session, including discussing support options or, where necessary, contacting emergency services. Wherever possible, you will be involved in decisions about next steps.

Not a Crisis Service Disclaimer

Progressa’s services are not a crisis or emergency response service. If you are experiencing immediate distress or are at risk of harm, please contact emergency services or a crisis support line such as Lifeline (13 11 14) or your local emergency number.

Booking & Attendance Acknowledgement

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge responsibility for attending your session at the scheduled time and understand that missed or late-cancelled appointments may be subject to cancellation terms outlined at booking.

Cancellation Policy

Progressa values the time and commitment of both our clients and practitioners. To ensure fair access to services and the availability of appointments, the following cancellation and rescheduling policy applies.

Cancellations made within seven (7) days of a scheduled session are non-refundable. Clients are responsible for managing their own rescheduling and ensuring appointments are attended as booked.

If you need to change your appointment, we encourage you to do so as early as possible. Where notice is provided outside the seven-day window, rescheduling may be accommodated subject to availability.

This policy applies to all individual sessions, programs, and online services unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. We appreciate your understanding, as late cancellations limit our ability to offer appointments to others and impact practitioner availability.
